Stonefields Heritage Farm: Myka + Greg tie the knot - Ottawa Wedding Photographer: Melanie Shields Photography

From our last posted engagement session, the lovely Myka + Greg are now married!
We had beautiful weather and it was my first time actually shooting at Stonefields Heritage Farm and not just basking in the beauty at one of their amazing open house nights.
So, I just have to start off by saying personality wise, Myka and I are exactly the same. We both want things to be perfect, like ... really perfect. The details were super important, but so were capturing the moments and the people, the fun, and the beauty through out the day.
I took a ridiculous amount of pictures, this wedding was by far my highest shot count even though I only photographed for 8 and a half hours, but there was always something going on that needed to be documented!

One of Ottawa’s best outdoor wedding and event destinations. 120 acre heritage farm, complete with its stone farmhouse and log barns, offers a breathtaking backdrop for country weddings and special celebrations.
Officiant: Alan Viau, always hilarious, full of joy and in this case, kept our bride calm who was running a couple minutes behind schedule!

Anne Marie does a fantastic job of pulling your vision together. They were exhibiting one year at the Ottawa Wedding Show beside me and it made my booth look so pretty!
