Sarah and Kris are a lovely, easy going couple who I knew were going to be very drama-free and amazing to photograph on their wedding day, September 12th, 2014.
A sneakpeak at their wedding day
Although Metropolitain Brasserie is literally steps from our studio at Third Floor York, I had never been in before. This venue is gorgeous! Very intimate, warm lighting and my meal was incredible (best mashed potatoes I have ever had in my life!)
The staff was also very helpful with every aspect and the possibilities for pictures were endless. I could have photographed Sarah & Kris for hours there.
Here is the ceremony site.
Serious Bridal Party
I was so happy we got a little taste of sunset to match their engagement session which was full of sunset at the Arboretum last Fall. We were really blessed with great weather for both shoots – thank you weather Gods!
So delicious – I can’t wait to go back
And as complete troopers I asked “do you guys want to go into the middle of the street and make some beautiful art” and they were both like “yes” no questions asked.
Having that trust made my job so easy!
Venue: For hundreds of years, Parisians and tourists alike have flocked to the great brasseries of Paris.
Now, in the heart of Ottawa, is the city’s own French Brasserie with the city’s largest fresh oyster bar. Featuring fresh oysters and daily creations from Chef de Cuisine Mike Poliquin, there is something for everyone at Metropolitain Brasserie.
Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends!
You are closer to Paris than you think! And on that note I know where I will be having my Paris themed Birthday in Ottawa 🙂
