You probably remember Brigitte and Alex’s engagement session from two weeks ago in Gatineau Park! I met them in mid July for their August wedding which was at the stunning Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa in the Signatures Bistro.
Their non traditional approach made for an amazing day. I arrived shortly before them and checked out all their décor and details and as I was arranging and photographing I spotted the bride and groom walk in happily together. Most couples want to capture the moment when they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day but it’s actually kind of unique that they didn’t; they’re going to have so many ‘first looks’ in their long life together.
These portraits were in one of the upstairs dining room; have a mentioned yet that I want to live here?
I think this was a first for me, Bride and Groom walk down the aisle together to their super small intimate family ceremony… and the harp; such a nice romantic touch that fit with the theme of the day!
Here, Lynne of Exceptional Ceremonies, is speaking Portuguese like it’s no big deal.
The couple’s custom vows to each other were memorable and hilarious; Keith and Lynne always make the ceremony so personal, can’t recommend them enough!
Quick champagne toast; right up my alley!
The food looked and tasted exquisite
Flowers and champagne; my favourite things.
